movie night - to save a life - wednesday, september 8, 7-10 pm

Some people are just dying to be heard.  Check out the trailer for the film here or watch below.  Summit is hosting a movie night in the MPR at UCC Wednesday, September 8.  Doors open at 7:00 pm, film starts promptly at 7:15.  We encourage every regular Summit student to bring several friends who do not normally attend.

Did you know Jesus was homeless?  In Luke 9:58 Jesus says, "Foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head."  In Matthew 25 Jesus says, "Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, surely you did unto me."  Let's serve together as if we are serving Jesus himself and let's prepare to meet Jesus in the eyes of our brothers and sisters in need.  Sign up at Summit or by .  Limit 10 students.

making God part of the equation - sundays 9:30 am beginning 9/12

Students are encouraged to take SAT's, visit colleges, apply for scholarships, and stress out about what direction to take after high school.  But how many are encouraged to seek God's direction, be in prayer, and investigate options from a faith perspective?  10th-12th graders are invited to join us for a 4-week exploration of life after high school, "Making God Part of the Equation," Sunday mornings 9:30-10:30 from September 12 through October 3.  Please register by

baptism / confirmation class - sundays 9:30 am beginning 10/17

If you have never been baptized or if you were baptized as an infant and want to confirm your baptism, join us for a 4-week baptism / confirmation class, Sundays from 9:30-10:30 am, October 17 - November 7.  The class will culminate in baptisms and confirmations in the main worship service on Sunday, November 14.  How awesome would it be to get baptized or confirmed together with a bunch of your peers in front of the church?!  Please register by
