Yes, you can specify whether you want your contribution made weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or whatever frequency you choose to establish. You can set up as many schedules as you would like, so it is possible to give a monthly gift as well as a weekly one if you so desire.

You can still take part in the offering during the service on Sunday by singing along with the worship team or reflecting on the music or media that is presented.

The technology that permits online transactions via debit cards also permits giving via credit cards and makes no distinction between the two. We strongly urge you NOT to put your gift on a credit card UNLESS you are able to pay it off each month because we do not want God's people going into debt. But, if you intend to pay off your balance each month we believe that is an issue of conscience and leave that between you, God, and your frequent flier miles! You can edit or delete a scheduled contribution at anytime, including the credit card, date, frequency and amount.

We've taken steps to ensure that the giving process is safe and secure from beginning to end. All of your giving data is secured by SSL encryption. SSL is an acronym for "Secure Socket Layer", a security protocol that provides communications privacy over the Internet. It is the same technology used by banks and e-commerce companies such as Amazon.com to keep your information safe and secure during transactions.

UCC has elected to use PayPal as our payment vendor. No fees are incurred by you (the donor) for any contributions made via the online giving system. However, UCC will incur (up to) a 2.9% fee plus 30 cents per transaction for each donation or payment processed, regardless of payment method.

Besides the obvious options of putting cash or check into the offering basket during Sunday services (or mailing a check to the church office), you can also arrange to have your financial institution set-up recurring payments directly to UCC. No fees would be charged to UCC under this arrangement; however, you should check with your financial institution to determine if you would incur any processing fees.
